Start 1-10 custom fields

Start 1-10 custom fields show any start date information related to a task or project.

For example, 4 months ago you set Baseline Start custom field and now you would like to report on the up-to-date changes in your project. If you created custom fields Start 1–10 when you set up VIP Task Manager Professional and Baseline Start has changed, you can rename custom field Start 1 to "Interim Start" which will show interim start date between Baseline Start and Actual Start.

To create custom fields Start 1-10 please follow the steps below:

1. Go to: Tools/Custom fields and press "Ins" button

2. In "Title" field enter "Start 1", "Start 2" or "Start 3", etc.

3. In "Code" field enter "cf_start_1", cf_start_2" or "cf_start_3", etc.

4. In "Type" field select "Date&Time" and click "Ok" button

If you would like to track the values of custom field "Start" without time select "Date" from the drop down list of available custom field types

5. to display the value of custom fields Start 1-10 on Task List or Task Tree please go to Task List or Task Tree, click Task List Columns or Task Tree Columns button   and check the custom field "Start 1", "Start 2" or "Start 3", etc.

6. to enter value of custom fields Start 1-10 please do the following:

• a) Open a task and go to Custom Fields tab

• b) Select the date from the drop-down calendar, enter time and click "Ok" button.
