Average Age of Projects

Average Age of Projects is a key performance indicator that shows the average time spent on projects, e.g. in days. This KPI helps to determine how much time it takes on average to close the projects.

If you need to count average age of projects, you need to do the following:

•  To enable the displaying of average age (duration) for task group please follow the steps described at:

• To enable the displaying of average age of projects (project duration) select the root or parent task group and click "Custom fields options"



• In "Edit custom fields options" window select the following options:
  • select custom field name that shows the project cost, for example "Duration"
  • select "Enable"
  • check "Aggregated (for task group)
  • select "Average" and the custom field name "Duration"
  • click "Ok" button
