I want to create a database on my computer (use my PC as a server), but I don't know the IP of my computer to enter it into 'Database Information Server' field. Where can I find the IP address?
If you want to find out the IP of your computer, please, do the following:
- Click on 'Start' button
- Select 'Control Panel' option
- Double click on 'Network Connections' option
- Double click on Local Area Connection
- Select Support tab
- Copy IP Address (ex.: 191.165.0.1)
- Enter your IP Address into 'Database Information Server' field of 'Select Database for connecting' window
- Click 'Update' button
