Total Number and Percentage of Tasks and Projects per Project Manager

Project Manager is a person with full responsibility and authority for the project scope (cost, time and quality) during project lifecycle (from planning to closing). The given employee key performance indicator shows the total number and percentage % of tasks and projects assigned to particular Project Manager. 

To calculate number of tasks allocated per project manager please do the following:

• If you need to view the number of tasks assigned per project manager per particular project on Task List, filter your to-do list by task group with project tasks.

• To display the number of tasks assigned per project manager on Task List set filter by “Assignment”

Alternatively you can use filter on task grid

• To define the number of tasks assigned per project manger over some time span filter your tasks by date

• Set footer
  • right click under any column
  • select “Count” to show the total number of tasks assigned per project manager

• To see the total number of tasks and percentage of tasks assigned per project manager drag and drop column header “Assigned”  (or corresponding custom field, for example, “Senior Project manager”) to the top of your task list, right click under any column and select “Count” to show total number of tasks for each project manager



• go to Charts panel and select the required diagram type, for example, “Pie diagram” to show the percentage of tasks allocated per project manager



To calculate the total number of projects assigned to project manager follow the steps below:

• Create a personal folder for each project manager



• Add custom field “# of Projects”



• On Task Tree select the task group for which you need to display the value of this KPI, select “Custom fields options” and set the following custom fields settings for the custom field “# of Projects”:
  • In “Settings for” select “This task group”
  • select “Enable”
  • to display the total number of projects select “Count”  and the custom field name “# of projects”
