Total, Maximum and Minimum Duration of Tasks for a Given Time Span

This key performance indicator shows the total, maximum and minimum amount of time spent on tasks.  This KPI helps to compare how much time it takes to complete tasks in given time frame. 

If you need to count total, maximum and minimum duration of tasks, you need to do the following:

• Create custom field "Duration":

• If you need to view the total, maximum and minimum duration of tasks per particular project, filter your to-do list by task group with project tasks.



• Set filter on Task List – Filters panel to display time span



• Set footer to display the total, maximum or minimum duration of tasks for the given time span:
  • right click under column "Duration"
  • to select total duration of tasks select "Sum"



to select maximum and minimum duration of tasks select "Max" or "Min"



If you need to view the total, maximum or minimum duration of tasks on Task Tree, please follow the steps below:

• On Task Tree select root task group and select "Custom fields options"



• To enable the displaying of the total, maximum or minimum duration select custom field "Duration",  do the following:
  •  select Enable
  • check "Aggregated" (for task group)
  • to display the total duration select "Sum" and the custom field name "Duration"



• to display maximum or minimum duration of tasks select "Max" or "Min"



• Select task group for which you need to view the total, maximum or  minimum duration, right click and select "Custom fields options"



• Select custom field "Duration" and select the option "Enable by parent".
