City Custom Field

City

City custom field shows the City name associated with task, resource, contact or customer. You can use City custom field when you need to view, edit the cities names for tasks, sort or filter the tasks by city. For example, you can use custom field City for tracking the cities where a resource or customer lives.

To create custom filed "City" please follow the steps below:

1. Go to: Tools/Custom fields and press "Ins" button

2. In "Title" field enter "City"

3. In "Code" field enter "cf_city"

4. Select "String" in "Type" field and click "Ok" button. 

If you would like to have default value of custom field City, for example, "Washington", you can check "Default value" option and select the default value "Washington". Each time you create a task, it will have the value "Washington".

5. to display the value of custom field City on Task List or Task Tree please go to Task List or Task Tree, click Task List Columns or Task Tree Columns button   and check the custom field "City"

6. to enter the values for custom field "City" please do the following:

• Open a task and go to Custom Fields tab

• Enter the City name in field "City", for example, New York

If you would like to track business address city and home address city of resource, contact, client or any other stakeholder associated with a task, you can add the following custom fields:

• Business Address City,
• Home Address City
• Other Address City
