|   Average Time to Approve Tasks  Average time to approve tasks is a key performance indicator that shows the average
duration for approving the task expressed as the difference between the date of
actual approving and Date Created (in hours or days). So task approval time can
be calculated by the following formula: Approval
Time = Approval Date – Date Created  This KPI
helps to determine how much time it takes on average to approve task from the
moment  of its creation.  If you need
to count average time to approve tasks, you need to do the following: 
   Create
    custom field "Approval Date":
     
       Go
       to: Tools/Custom fields and press "Ins" button 
   
  In
     "Title" field enter "Approval Date"  In
     "Code" field enter "cf_approval_date" In
      "Type" field select "Date&Time" and click "Ok"
     button
 
 Create
   custom field "Approval Time": 
    Go
   to: Tools/Custom fields and press "Ins" button 
 2. If you
      need to view the average time to approve tasks per particular project, filter
   your to-do list by task group with tasks 
 3. to view the
      average time to approve tasks per some time span set filter on Task List –
   Filters panel 
 4. Set footer to display the average time to approve tasks: 
     right click under column "Approval Time"select
           "Average" 
 If you need
      to view the average time to approve tasks on Task Tree, please follow the steps
   below: On Task Tree select root task
     group and select "Custom fields options"
 To enable the displaying  of average
     time to approve tasks select custom field "Approval Time"  and do the following:
     
       select Enablecheck "Aggregated
         (for task group)- select "Average" and the custom field name "Approval Time" 
 Select task group for which you
       need to view average time to approve tasks, right click and select "Custom
     fields options"
 Select custom field "Approval
     Time" and select the option "Enable by parent".
