Yes, totally agree with you. We have this feature in our plan for the next update. It will be released in February-March next year. Thanks. |

Thanks for the request.
At the moment VPXML allows to import tasks only from our application VIP Team To Do List (that is why there is no documentation yet). Of course we plan to extend import feature and allow our users to import their tasks from other applications as it is critical for their migration to ours. Thanks again for focusing our attention on the features that are really important. |

Thank you for suggestion. We have discussed this feature before and consider the possibility of adding it to our development plan, however, it will hardly be implemented in the near future. |

Hi Mark,
Thanks for suggestion however we consider filter by single click to be less intuitive than by double click. You see, user may simply shift between the categories with their purpose, like renaming the category, with no intention to filter by this category.
Best,

Thanks for your kind words and suggestions. We will discuss the possibility of locking the panels, however, the only way to move a panel is to drag its header. That is not so easy to do if not do it on purpose.
Recurring master, Watchlist and Superviser options are int the plan for the nearest update. It's true. |

Thanks for the question. If you want to create your own status, please, do the following:
1. Go to menu 'Tools'
2. Select 'Edit Workflow'
3. In the dialog box 'Edit Workflow' click on 'New Status' button
4. In the dialog box 'Create Status' enter 'Waiting'.
5. If your new status corresponds to a certain % of task completion, specify it in Complete field.
6. Select 'Waiting' from the drop down menu of VPXML Status field. (If you are going to export your database from VIP Team To Do List and import it to VIP Task Manager)
7. If your new status requires automatic notification to all concerned with this task, select 'On' in Notification field. |

We will add Supervisor option and Watchlist option to the next update. Supervisor option will let a User (supervisor) receive notifications of tasks assigned to a certain Resource. Watchlist will let a User to assign other Users to receive notifications of tasks they are not directly concerned with. If that will not work for your workflow, you will be able to use future feature Custom Fields for your purpose. |

Dear Sai,
Sure, there is a way to extract a report each week that identifies tasks completed during that week.
1. In Filter panel select Status field, uncheck all statuses except for 'Complete' and 'Verified', and click OK. (Mind that you can create your own statuses that correspond your workflow better. See Start Up guide: http://www.taskmanagementsoft.com/products/taskmanagerpro/tutorials/startup-guide/setting-workflow.php)
2. In Filter panel select Date Range field, select option Relative 'This Week' and click OK
3. In Filter panel click on 'Save as…' button, select New, enter the name of the filter ex.: 'Completed This Week' and click OK. |

Yes, we are going to make something like that. Probably, a highlighting a Task Group in Task Group panel will automatically enter its name to corresponding field when a new task is created.
As for the 'Created' status to be default:
1. Go to menu Tools
2. Select Edit Workflow
3. Highlight 'Draft' status
4. Click on 'Move Down' button
Thanks |
