Topic: «Time on Calendar View» on forum: Feature Requests (VIP Task Manager)

We use the Weeks,Days Calendar view. If a task has a short name, when you scroll over it, it will not give you the time of the task. If the task has a long name, when you scroll over it it will show you the time and whole name. It would be nice if on the short named task it would still give you the time so that you would not have to open it or switch to Task Tree to see the time.

It would be nice to have a date completed field. I have added it as a custom field but it would be nice if users could enter it on the general screen at the same time it is changed to complete. Probably around the actual time field. We never sit down and calculate time to complete but we will (in theory) enter date completed on projects (not things like meetings). This would let us see if it was done before, on or after the due date.

Topic: «Reminder Error Message» on forum: Troubleshooting (VIP Task Manager)

Just before a reminder appears, I get an error message that says "Cannot change Visible in OnShow or OnHide". Most of the time I just have to hit ok and it goes away, but sometimes it won't let me click snooze on the reminder, it will just keep popped up the error. If I wait 5 or 10 minutes, it will then let me snooze. No one else is getting this message but me. It started last week, but I was getting a new computer and thought maybe the old one was just going crazy. Once we installed VIP on my new computer, I am getting the same message.

Victoria,
When I go to C:\Program Files\VIP Quality Software the folder in their is VIP Task Manager Professional and in that folder there is not a dsk folder. There is backup, help, images, licensedata and sound. I checked each one of those and there isn't a dsk folder in any of those. Also, I had a co-worker check and he doesn't have it either.

Thanks Victoria
I did it and just got my first reminder without an error.

Topic: «Cancel only one reoccurrence» on forum: Troubleshooting (VIP Task Manager)

We have several reoccurring task set up. For example, one member of our office has a meeting every Wednesday afternoon from 1 to 3. This week the meeting was canceled (but the following weeks the meeting is still to happen). When we changed the status to canceled, it canceled the whole recurrence instead of just that days. We went back and changed it to complete, but this doesn't give us an accurate account of what happened. Is there any way to cancel a single occurrence of a reoccurring task? If not we would like to see this feature added in the future.
