Database compress

Hello everybody,

is there a possibility to compress the database to reduce file-size of the .gdb-db in usage?

btw:
If the database is zipped with a standard zip-program, the file size is reduced by more than 50%.

Thank you for your suggestion! It's a pity, but there isn't possibility to compress the database to reduce the file-size of the .gdb-db, as our prgram use Firebird and the firebird doesn't have such functionallity.
