Moving the Database

We just purchased vip taskmanager pro, (we are really looking forward to using your great product), and would like to move our eval database to a different machine.

Can you outline the steps of how this is done?

If you would like to move your evaluation database to different machine, please do the following:
1. Close the application on all your computers.
2. Copy the database from folder 'Databases' on machine where you evaluated software to folder 'Databases' on machine where you would like to use it for work.
3. If you installed the program to default folder, go to Start -> All Programs -> VIP Quality
Software -> VIP Task Manager Professional -> Database Manager.
4. Select Databases tab
5. Click on Register button
6. Enter the name of your evaluation database
7. Enter the host (IP address or the NAME of the computer)
8. Choose the path to the database.

I do not follow. where is this happening?

When you start Database Manager (Start -> All Programs -> VIP Quality Software -> VIP Task Manager Professional -> Database Manager) you will see the window with the following tabs: 'General' and 'Databases'. You need to select 'Databases' tab and click on buttin 'Register'.

P.S. Of course, Database Manager should be on the computer on which server or full installation is installed.
