1. Make a screenshot of SMTP tab in Database Manager with your settings (Start/Programs/VIP Quality Software/VIP Task Manager [edition]/Database Manager)
2. Click 'Test' button. If there is an error message please make a screenshot of the error message. If no please describe what happens.

Hi i just sent you the screenshot of the email settings. we host our own mail server and the app runs on that mashine,i have tried to move it to another server but still same problem.
Hi i've done exacly like you said and played around with it and still no luck,the manager still hang. i did install in on another server and i does exacly the same thing.
1. Please make sure port 25 is open (however it should be opened as you use it).
2. Please tell us what email client software you use and what are the settings in your email client software which are used for connection to email server software. Are there any specific settings?
3. Can you check one more thing: if you have any free email account (like GMAIL or AOL), please try to set SMTP to connect to their server and try to send emails via your personal email login and password.
