Step 6. Sharing engineering company tasks

VIP Task Manager is a comprehensive task management software that helps the engineering company to quickly organize and share all of business tasks and documents. For each task, VIP Task Manager allows to set priority levels, required completion date, estimated and actual number of weeks (days, hours, minutes) to complete a task, more detailed information and associated files and links to documentation. Password protection of resource login

VIP Task Manager supports password protection for each resource access into the database. To change a resource password, the manager of engineering company should have administration rights which can be preset in Resource List view.

Customizable task permissions

Administrator defines which tasks a resource may watch, create, edit or delete in the company database and what the managers of engineering company need to do is to simply specify resource permissions to a task group or a task by using Permissions panel.

Sharable task attributes

When creating a task, the manager of engineering company can specify task attributes like priority, due date, start & finish dates, reminder, and other. The task can be shared with all assigned resources which will be able to see the task attributes. By Using Permissions panel, the manager is able to set permissions to assigned resources.

Sharable documents

VIP Task Manager offers easy document management for storing, sharing, retrieving and emailing documentation. All project documents of engineering company can be enclosed to tasks as a file or a link. For example, the task "8.Sign the contract" can be shared among the managers of engineering company. The contract can be attached to the tasks. VIP Task Manager allows to send tasks with attachments by email.

Real time task synchronization

Share different task group (sub-group) with different employees. If engineering company employs a new team member, manager can register him in VIP Task Manager by simply adding his/her name to Resource List and giving permissions in Permissions panel. In VIP Task Manager database, all changes are automatically done in real time which allows easily to synchronize data with engineering company teammates. All inputs will stream to employees' computers and automatically update their data.
