Employee resource management is an effective strategic business practice that ensures employee resources and employee development are aligned with the mission, vision, and values of the engineering company. Resource List View

  • Adding resources

In Resource List View managers of the engineering company can add new resource or edit existing ones. A resource has the following details: name, email, department, job title, address, phone, and password. All created resources can be grouped by department or job title to get more handy resource view. Once resource has been created, employee gets personal protected assess to the company database.

  • Assigning supervisor
VIP Task Manager allows to make supervision of tasks performance by receiving notifications within the application or by email. Supervisor can be assigned in tab "Watch List". For example, The Drilling Manager is responsible for drilling team and should be aware of all their tasks. When creating resource "Drilling Manager", in "Watch List" tab there should be checked all resources that are concerned to drilling team tasks.
  • Setting permissions

VIP Task Manager enables to hide tasks or restrict access to them. For example, the tasks of financial department should be divided from tasks of quality assurance department because they are different and employees shouldn't digress from assigned task list. In permission panel the manager of engineering company can set permission to tasks and task groups to every resource. The available permission values are: view, edit and delete. The manager decides weather a resource should view, edit or delete tasks of other resources or departments.

Roles are another mechanism to manage the engineering company employees. Roles usually are assigned to a group of resources that has common tasks or work over the same project. For example, the manager can create role "Drilling operator" and assigned to that role all resources involved in drilling works. The role can be customized in permissions panel.
