Sales Management and Project Management Software
One of the possible approaches to sales management optimization is to treat sales process as a number of projects and every salesman as a person responsible for managing his or her own sales project. Sales software helps to define sales project goal (for example, increasing sales revenue), set time limits and make an action plan reducing a project goal to a number of definite tasks. Tasks may have different priorities (high, low, medium) and statuses ("done", "in progress", "not started" etc.) Project management software may well be used for managing the sales projects.
