| On planning phase of the project, the primary and foremost task for the project manager is to identify roles and responsibilities of the team and to find ways of how to efficiently communicate to all people involved into the project. By managing human resources in the project, the project manager defines few important roles as follows: Sponsor, Project Team, Project Manager, Functional Manager. If to look at the project human resources management entirely, it can be divided into four consecutive processes. These processes are:
- Planning human resources. During this process, roles, responsibilities, and reporting rules are being identified and documented. At the end of the process the staffing management plan is to be created.
- Recruiting project team . This process manages ways and sources of obtaining the human resources required to complete the project in accordance with the accepted staffing management plan.
- Developing project team. Training and studying are the challenges this process resolves. T he competencies and interaction of the team participants are to be improved in order to enhance project performance.
- Managing project team. During the process performance of the team is being tracked and the team members provide feedback. The project manager resolves issues and manages changes to enhance project performance.
